Welcome to BeautyLook. By downloading, accessing, or using the BeautyLook mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
BeautyLook is an AI-powered skincare assessment tool that provides personalized skin analysis, product recommendations, and routine tracking. The App uses advanced artificial intelligence to analyze skin photos and provide insights based on the data you provide.
BeautyLook is not a medical service or healthcare provider. The skin analysis and recommendations generated by the App are for informational and educational purposes only. The AI analysis is not a medical diagnosis. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin conditions, including skin cancer. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional for medical concerns. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read on this App.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the App. By using BeautyLook, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.
Certain features of the App may require a "Pro Subscription" or one-time purchase.
Skin assessments are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. The quality of analysis depends on the quality of the photos provided. BeautyLook does not guarantee the accuracy or medical validity of any AI-generated content.

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property in the App are owned by BeautyLook. You may not reproduce or distribute content from the App without prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the App's Settings screen.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeautyLook shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its AI assessments.

Your privacy—and the security of your photos—is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information BeautyLook collects, how we use it, and how we protect it.

To provide skin analysis, BeautyLook sends your assessment data to Google, which acts as our third-party AI processing partner, for real-time image and text analysis. This is used for this feature only.
What data is sent: When you tap "Start" to run a skin analysis, we transmit (1) the facial assessment photos you uploaded for that assessment (front, side profiles, forehead and cheek close-ups), (2) your questionnaire answers (e.g. age, gender, climate, skin behavior), and (3) your selected skin goals and any progress feedback you typed for follow-up assessments. We do not send your name, email address, or account credentials to Google as part of this request.
Your permission: Before any assessment is sent for analysis, the App shows an explicit confirmation screen naming Google as the AI provider and requires you to actively acknowledge it before the request is sent. You may decline at that point and no data will be transmitted.
Security: Data is transmitted via encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Per Google's API terms for this service, submitted content is not used to train Google's general-purpose public models and is retained by Google only as needed to provide and debug the service.
Your data and photos are stored securely using Supabase with high-grade encryption. Facial photos are treated as sensitive biometric data and are protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) so that only you can access them.
We do not sell your personal data or facial photos to third parties. We share data only:
We retain your data as long as your account is active to show your skin progress over time. If you delete your account, all associated data and facial photos are permanently purged from our servers.
